RestoreLink
An emergency restore tool for WordPress sites that no longer load.
What it does
RestoreLink connects a small plugin on your WordPress site to a dashboard you control. From the dashboard you can make a snapshot of a site's files and database, keep a copy of it somewhere safe, and restore the site from a snapshot, even when its admin area is broken.
How it uses Google
- Sign in with Google identifies you with your name and e-mail address.
- Google Drive (optional) stores your snapshot copies in a folder named RestoreLink. RestoreLink can see only the files it creates there.
- Browsing your Drive (optional, asked for separately) lists your .zip files so you can choose a backup to restore. It only reads them.
RestoreLink's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared.
